This is my second pair of Frogs. Everyone has their favorites and I’ve tried several other brands. For me, Frog Grips are the only grips in the space. Frog grips base grip 2.0 HD I found these gloves comfortable and stylish, but they need to be worn in. The first few times I used them were a bit challenging, even tho I put chalk on them. Other than that, they’re really good quality gloves

What's the difference between HD and OG?

HD has a wider wrist support and wider hand coverage. Our OG design has a thinner wrist support and more minimalist hand coverage, designed to fit the human hand. Which is better? That's purely personal preference, generally speaking bigger athletes tend to prefer the HD. Those who like less bulk on their wrist prefer the OG.
Should i go a size up for fingerless?

Potentially yes, however it's important to note you do not need to cover your finger tips. If anything the grips will just get in the way more during other activity, 3/4 up the fingers is plenty to lock in hard on the bar with.
Should I chalk these?

Yes these are a chalk based grip. Best way to test for you and your bars is to first try with just a chalked pull up bar and then from there adding chalk to the grip as needed throughout your workout.
What pull up bars do these work best with?

All pull up bars, these are a great all rounder, however they especially excel on chalked powder coated bars. For steel/speal bars with chalk we recommend the Fibre grips.
What's the difference between Base Grips and Elite Grips?

Base is our original grip which uses a classic synthetic leather surface, they're best used with chalk and in chalky environments. Same is true of our Fibre Grips. Our Elite Grips are our specialised rubber surface which has a "omg game changer" grip surface and are chalk free.
Should I go fingerless or fingerholes?

One way you can decide is how you grab the pull up bar. Thumbs around, fingerhole may be better, Thumbs over, fingerless may be better. Especially when using for muscle ups thumb over the bar is the recommended use when completing bar muscle ups. But it does come down to personal preference. Fingerholes also offer other options such as to be used on KB's or on a barbell as needed. It's also worth noting you do not necessarily need to put your fingers all the way in the fingerholes, and just to the first knuckle will often give you more of a dowel effect to lock onto the bar with. Again test and trial and see what works best for you.
